Whether it is possible to check the electricity arrives to the sensor of a mass consumption of air and whether data to EBU arrive from it. For this purpose it is necessary to have experience of measurement of parameters of an electricity.

If the sensor of a mass consumption of air does not sustain check, it is necessary to address on HUNDRED where additional diagnostics will be carried out. Check of the sensor of a mass consumption of air will need a control diode lamp.

Check of the sensor of a mass consumption of air carry out in the following order:

- disconnect a shtekerny block of the sensor of a mass consumption of air;

- connect legs of a control diode lamp to plugs "1" and "4" of a shtekerny block (fig. 204) ;

- by means of the assistant start the engine. If the lamp lights up, therefore, the electric current arrives in the sensor of a mass consumption of air.

Note Other malfunctions of the sensor of a mass consumption of air can be defined and eliminated only in the presence of special devices of Volkswagen firm.
