Poliklinova the belt is necessary for removing for access to the pump of cooling liquid, the generator or a pulley of a cranked shaft.

Establish a wrench on a nut of a tension roller and turn a key so that to weaken a tension of a poliklinovy belt (fig. 469) . Remove poliklinovy a belt.

Examine poliklinovy a belt: on it there should not be damages, cracks. Damaged replace. Again establish a tension roller as it was described, put on poliklinovy a belt, establish a roller on poliklinovy a belt. Edges should coincide with fillets, and the belt should settle down on the pulley center.

Prevention Do not pull poliklinovy a belt at installation by a screw-driver or any lever on pulleys, so a belt can lose durability at once.
